Travel terms and conditions

Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to define the detailed implementation and compliance requirements of domestic travel contracts between Goldis Trip and the traveler.
Article 2 (Types and Definitions of Travel)
1.
General Group Tour: A tour organized by the agency based on preset travel conditions.
2.
Customized Tour: A tour organized according to travel conditions requested by the traveler.
3.
Delegated Tour: A tour where the travel agency commissions another travel business to recruit travelers for a preset tour.
Article 3 (Obligations of the Travel Agency and the Traveler)
1.
The travel agency shall faithfully perform its duties in planning and implementing safe and satisfactory travel services, including arrangements, transport, and accommodation.
2.
The traveler shall cooperate to maintain travel order and promote harmony for a safe and pleasant trip.
Article 4 (Composition of the Contract)
1.
A travel contract consists of the travel agreement (attachment), these terms and conditions, and the itinerary (or travel guide).
2.
The travel agreement must include the agency’s name, address, and details of guarantee insurance or deposit under Article 9 of the Tourism Promotion Act.
3.
The itinerary must include the daily schedule, destinations, transportation, shopping frequency, accommodations, meals, services provided, and traveler precautions.
Article 5 (Refusal of Contract Conclusion)
The agency may refuse a contract in the following cases:
1.
If the traveler requires individual care or may hinder group travel due to illness or physical condition.
2.
If the number of travelers exceeds the maximum capacity stated in the agreement.
Article 6 (Special Agreements)
Special agreements may be made in writing (including electronic documents) within the scope of the law. In such cases, the agency must explain the differences from the standard terms and obtain written confirmation from the traveler.
Article 7 (Provision of Documents and Safety Information)
Upon contract signing, the agency must provide the traveler with a copy of the contract, these terms, and the itinerary, as well as safety information about the destination. If safety information changes before departure, the updated information must also be provided.
Article 8 (Deemed Provision of Documents)
The following cases are deemed equivalent to document provision:
1.
If the traveler agrees to the content provided online and applies for the tour, and the agency confirms the agreement via electronic means.
2.
If both parties exchange documents by fax or similar devices and agree electronically.
Article 9 (Travel Fee)
1.
The travel fee includes:
â‘  Transportation fare (standard class)
â‘¡ Shuttle between airports/stations and accommodations
â‘¢ Accommodation and meals
â‘£ Guide fees
⑤ Taxes
â‘¥ Domestic airport/port usage fees
⑦ Admission fees to attractions
â‘§ Other agreed expenses
2.
The traveler must pay a deposit (up to 10% of the fee) at the time of contract.
3.
The balance must be paid before departure.
4.
Payment methods include card, transfer, or deposit.
5.
If insurance is included, the agency must explain the provider and coverage.
Article 10 (Change of Conditions and Fee Adjustment)
1.
Changes may be made only in these cases:
â‘  Mutual agreement due to local conditions or traveler safety
â‘¡ Natural disasters, war, strikes, or government orders
2.
The agency must obtain prior written consent for changes.
3.
In emergencies, consent may be waived but must be explained later.
4.
Fee differences must be settled before or within 10 days after the trip.
5.
No refund is given for unused services unless the trip ends early.
Article 11 (Transfer of Traveler’s Position)
1.
The traveler may transfer their position with agency approval and payment of any resulting costs.
2.
The agency may refuse due to conditions.
3.
The transfer takes effect upon agency approval and payment (if any).
4.
All rights and obligations transfer to the new participant.
Article 12 (Agency’s Responsibility)
1.
The traveler may request corrections or compensation for defects.
2.
This can be done during the trip or within 6 months after.
3.
The agency is liable for intentional or negligent damage caused by itself or its employees.
4.
The agency is responsible for delays unless it proves no fault.
5.
The agency is liable for lost or damaged luggage unless due care was taken.
Article 13 (Termination Before Departure)
1.
Either party may cancel before departure; compensation is per the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards.
2.
No penalty applies if:
•
Force majeure per Article 10
•
Serious illness or death in close family
•
Non-payment of fees
•
Agency fails to provide essential services
Article 14 (Cancellation Due to Minimum Number Not Met)
1.
The agency must notify travelers at least 24 hours (1-day tour) or 48 hours (overnight tour) before departure.
2.
Failure to do so requires full refund plus a penalty equal to the deposit.
Article 15 (Termination After Departure)
1.
Either party may terminate for just cause.
2.
The agency must ensure the traveler’s return.
3.
Costs are split depending on cause.
4.
If there is a major defect, the traveler may cancel.
5.
The agency loses the right to claim fees unless the traveler gained benefit.
6.
The agency must act in the traveler’s interest, and cover return costs unless a reason exists to share it.
Article 16 (Start and End of the Trip)
The trip starts at the time of departure and ends upon arrival at the final destination, unless otherwise agreed.
Article 17 (Duty of Explanation)
The agency must explain important terms and any changes to ensure traveler understanding.
Article 18 (Insurance)
The agency must subscribe to insurance or deposit a bond to cover traveler damages.
Article 19 (Other Matters)
1.
Disputes not specified herein are resolved by mutual agreement or, if not possible, by law and custom.
2.
Terms may differ for special destinations with valid reasons.
